ESG & Impact Investing

Innovative ESG Solutions

Forefront manages dynamic, factor-based Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) solutions for foundations, endowments, pension plans and high-net-worth families targeting extending a typical portfolio by including sustainable investments in a risk-managed format complementing traditional stock and bond exposures.

Forefront Impact Resiliency Strategy

The Forefront Impact Resiliency Strategy provides investors a highly diversified mix of individual equities, mutual funds, exchange traded funds (ETFs) that meet the firm’s sustainability standards. The impact evaluation process uses both quantitative and qualitative assessments to measure impact characteristics such as carbon intensity, fossil fuel exposure, water usage, community investments, and so on. The resulting portfolio represents exposures across ESG themes including the UN SDG’s.

Forefront’s goal is to provide liquid and transparent strategies that could serve as ballast in client portfolios seeking to target some upside and mitigate downside risk while adhering to ESG principles. By focusing on identifying investments that exhibit higher exposure to premium-generating factors such as value, momentum, quality and their dynamics.

Forefront Impact Dynamic Growth

The Strategy is a Sustainable multi‐asset strategy that extends a traditional U.S. 60/40 portfolio by including sustainable international investments, clean energy, water, sustainable real estate and alternatives. The Strategy invests in funds pursuing positive Impact themes such as fossil free fuels and low carbon emissions, low environmental impact, high diversity and strong corporate governance, and sustainability. The alternative exposure is obtained through dynamic allocations to impact oriented ESG / Socially Responsible investments, resulting in diversifying factor exposures.

Forefront Impact Equity Strategy

Factor-based, high active share equity strategy focusing on ESG-related intangibles and traditional pillars of factor-based management (e.g., value, quality, momentum).

Incorporates assessments of reputation quality, employee satisfaction and customer sentiment.
